“Richard Caistor - the Good Vicar of St Stephen's”

An illustrated talk by Frank Meeres, retired local archivist and historian

Richard Caistor was vicar of St Stephen's, Norwich from 1402-1420. He became known for his preaching and writing and for his concern for the poor - his reputation for sanctity was so great that after his death people made pilgrimages to his grave.
Mr Meeres offers a rare opportunity to look at original archive material relating to Richard and his times.
