“Meet the Museum” - Museum of Norwich (Bridewell)
A guided tour by Bethan Holdridge, Learning and Curatorial Assistant, NMS.
Meeting at the museum, we take a leisurely guided tour around the Museum of Norwich, in the company of Curatorial Assistant, Bethan Holdridge.
This fascinating museum contains items from the Medieval to modern day periods. It tells the story of the city’s industries and the people who lived and worked here. From the textile trade which was once at the heart of the city’s wealth, to the production of shoes, chocolate and mustard, the story of how Norwich constantly adapted to changing fortunes and coped with two World Wars is told as we explore its galleries over two floors.
The afternoon concludes with “Tea and cake too” served in the Museum courtyard.
Tickets are limited for this exclusive event, so please book early.
